The Winter Solstice marks the shortest day and the longest night of the year, when the sun reaches its lowest point in the sky.

Since prehistoric times, this moment has been honoured with festivals and mid-winter rituals—celebrations of the turning point when the diminishing daylight reverses and the hours of sunshine begin to grow again.

Lewis and Irene have designed these prints as a nod to the Winter Solstice at Stonehenge.
